why i started blogging (and why you should too)

hello! welcome to my very first blog post~

ever since i was a kid, i would always tell my mom to always buy me a diary, because that is where i can freely say my thoughts, and i also love writing there, i can still remember there was a time that i wrote, "dear, diary" then suddenly my tears started to burst into my eyes. It is true that the tears in the paper while writing on your diary can only be the response when your mind can not process everything.

Everyone is being techy right now and a lot of people are using weblogs as their diary so why not i try it too?

so I created my own blog out of boredom.

or maybe not?

i know it is more than just the boredom i am feeling

maybe i really want to explore......

i want my thoughts to be heard....

badly want to step out of my comfort zone

so here are the reasons why i started blogging........

1. to build self-confidence

blogging is not everyone can do, yes, they can start and build their own blog and write about their interests and likes but i know it really takes more than that. Starting a blog requires a lot of confidence to promote your blogs. As you all know, I am an introvert I think starting my own personal blog will really help me overcome my fear of putting my thoughts into words.

2. to keep all the memories alive.

As I have said earlier, i am starting my own personal blog, expect a lot of personal and real life experiences from this blog, this blog will be my ediary because why not *chuckles. Starting my blog will really keep all my memories alive because I will share with you my memorable moments in my life. I will share with you my personal experiences for me to reminisce and look back to moments which really humbled me.

3. to learn new things

when people learn, they grow and they get happy so they feel fulfilled. When you do blogging, you never stop learning, because you discover a lot of things, you learn new things, you learn the right from wrongs. blogging will teach me to accept criticism in a very mature way and not use it against the people who criticized me.

4. document life in a very inspiring way

my blog is really a personal blog. When creating your blog it doesn't have to be personal, there are really no rules. You can write about topics that you have interest with, say your thoughts without the fear of being judged, or just your random thoughts and opinions about certain things. YOUR BLOG, YOUR RULES

starting a blog really takes a lot of courage, time and effort, it requires consistency and perseverance to post thrice a week, and it is really up to you on how you can make your blog pleasing in the eyes of your readers.

Alex Tabarrok, Canadian-American economist, also the author of economics blog Marginal Revolution, once said "The first thing you learn when you’re blogging is that people are one click away from leaving you. So you’ve got to get to the point, you can’t waste people’s time, you’ve got to give them some value for their limited attention span."
